This was a successful fried rice, it turns out different every time. This one was one of my best so far. The sauce was rice vinegar, maple syrup, tamari, ginger, dark sesame oil, and hoison sauce. I used a fresh pineapple in this batch and I think that might have been the reason it was so good. Fresh pineapple has such a different flavor from canned. I chopped the pineapple in the morning so there was a good amount of juice too, that added a good flavor.
I just love this shot, it really captures the texture of the meal.

I just can not be a regular blogger, how do you guys that post daily do it?
I do have a couple items (sort of) today however, yay me!
Here is a product plug

Crunchy garlic morsels, that’s all they are and they are so good. I’ve been sprinkling them on everything.
And then there is Dick’s, their fries, oh their sweet fries

one of the things I love about Dick’s is being able to watch the person clean and prep the millions of potatoes right in front of you, I assume that is why they are so good

and another totally random tid-bit is this art on a construction site in Seattle I go by frequently

there are 5 panels with the same sort of theme and I love them
hm, what else do I have…
dog nose?

ahh, fuck it, go read Linda
